My Single Step Into the World of Travel Blogging

Lao-tzu, the wise Chinese philosopher, once proclaimed: "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." 

I just love that.

This post shall be my single step into the world of travel blogging and adventure documenting. Having lived in the Netherlands for a little more than a month now, I figured it was time to start spreading the word on the amazingly simple lifestyle I have grown accustomed to the past few weeks. 

Born in New York City and growing up in Florida, I have always had a desire to travel abroad. I quickly filed the necessary paperwork to obtain my passport at the tender age of 18. My first stamp? A cruise to the Bahamas. Nothing really to "write" home about. 

*wry chuckle here*
